    Hi Todd and Michael,

Please can you point me in the right direction to set up a 301 redirect for www versions of reclaimdesign.org to point to the non-www version. I do not have access to the .htaccess file as suggested in this post (solving-redirection-issues-using-rank-math-seo) so would have to accomplish it within the RankMath redirect section, but am not sure how to set up the regex correctly. Many thanks.

    Michael.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

If its a lot of pages, I’d recommend you ask for access to the .htaccess file add those redirections using this method:

How to Redirect an Old Domain to a New Domain

If you wish to do it with Rank Math – you will need to create a redirection for each page URL. You can find the redirect option under the Rank math advanced meta box. Select 301 redirection type and insert the destination URL.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for getting back to me. Isn’t there a method to do a wildcard type of redirection? I did that with .html extensions (and so did not need to enter every page of the site). I just am not sure of syntax in regex.

htaccess is unfortunately not an option – namecheap policy that I have no control over.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

Unfortunately, redirecting www to non-www requires .htaccess file access. You will have to contact your host about the same.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Thanks Michael, I’ll have to continue to look for alternatives as it’s not an option with the host
