Hello,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Since you are providing an event hosting service to your clients, you should use the Service Schema. And it is completely up to you if you want to use posts or pages to create the events. It doesn’t affect the SEO performance of the site.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thank you Jaideep. Exactly what I anted to know. My error on the second question – should I choose the schema as article or blog?
Lastly how about the provider URL Is this the post URL or home page?
Hello,
You can choose the Article Schema type for your pages as default and there wouldn’t be any confusion on SERPS upon using that schema.
The Article Schema is recommended on evergreen content (like normal pages), and BlogPosting Schema on time-sensitive content (blog post). You can check this link for more information:

Lastly how about the provider URL Is this the post URL or home page?
I’m not quite sure whether I fully understand your question here. Could you please share the page/URL so we can check? You can also upload images using this tool and provide here the links so we can advise accordingly.
I hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hi Reinelle

As you can see we are to add the course provider name and course provider url
For the name I added our company.
However for the url would it be the url of the post or the home page?
Hello,
You should enter the URL of your site in the Course Provider URL field.
Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thanks.
I understand it’s to be my site but my question was: Is it the site home page URL of the service page URL?
Hello,
By site URL I meant the homepage URL. Please enter the homepage URL in that field.
