    Where Does RankMath Analysis grab the SEO Title from?

    We are using Divi Theme on WordPress. We’ve tried altering the Meta Description in the DIVI Theme SEO and emptying caches, but the RankMath Analysis always shows different content from what is expected.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Rank Math grabs the meta description from the homepage page source. I have inspected your page and it looks like there is are duplicate meta description tags with the first one being the incorrect one as shown below:

    I can suggest that you check whether your theme or one of your installed plugins is adding this tag and disable it.

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you for the reply.

    The next step will be to identify the PHP code on your theme that is injecting the meta tag on the head section of your site.

    You can check your functions.php file or the header.php file as a starting point.
