I had disabled author archives before your message.
Now I have enabled it and renamed the author base to something else but nothing have changed unfortunately. Any other suggestions ? Thx.
PS: This slug change is only happening while editing a Freelancer, in the Preview section of the RM plugin. The Freelancer’s page URL is not changed itself. But the Preview section of the plugin shows:
1. Wrong URL: as I said, the slug is changed from (profil) to (pack).
2. Wrong title: as Preview only shows the freelancers name, instead of showing %sitename% %sep% %title% which appears fine in the real browser’s page, when viewing a freelancer’s profile page.

Are you using any plugin to create those author archives?
1. Please check the actual URL in the browser. Does that change as well?
2. Please go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > and hit the save button once. That should fix the title issues.
However, if you are using any plugin like bbPress or BuddyPress – we will need to take a closer look.

The author archives are not created by a plugin, but by the theme itself…
I am using Directory Engine Theme by enginethemes (https://www.enginethemes.com/themes/directoryengine/)
1. The URL in browser doesn’t change.
This slug change is only happening while editing a Freelancer, in the Preview section of the RM plugin. The Freelancerβs page URL is not changed itself.
2. I have already did that. It didnt solve the slug change issue.
I have tried to flush permalink too, didnt change anything.
One more thing I am not using bbPress or BuddyPress.
Any other suggestions to help me fix this?

This problem only seems to affect querying of your post type information on the Rank Math metabox. The correct canonical is added on the profil pages on the frontend as shown below and thus this will not affect your SEO:
