Hey guys,
is it possible to transfer all The SEO Framework settings into a new Rank Math installation?
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us.
Rank Math does not accept data from the SEO Framework at the moment, but you can work around this by making use of a third-party SEO plugin that accepts data from this plugin and then importing the data to Rank Math.
You can import data from SEO Framework to a supporting plugin such as Yoast:
https://yoast.com/help/how-to-migrate-from-the-seo-framework-to-yoast-seo/And then use the Rank Math import option to import the data from Yoast:
https://rankmath.com/kb/yoast-seo-migration/Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Hey Prabhat,
thank you for your answer.
Can you tell me if this work around are succesfully tested before?
Hello,
Many of our users have followed this approach successfully.
However, if you wish, you can also import the data in a staging website first and check the data and if everything seems fine, push that to the production website.
Just as a further precautionary measure, you can also keep a backup of the live website’s database before pushing the data there.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
Ok thank you!
I will tested it 🙂
But why has Rank Math no option to do this for the user? It would be so much user friendlier.
Hello,
Currently, we do not have the import tool ready for the SEO Framework but we have plans of implementing that in the future.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have watched the vidio on how to migrate to Rankmath from Yoast. I followed every step, but it seems Impossible to fetch Yoast at the stage of IMPORTING. I can not see IMPORTING STAGE on the current Rankmath dashboard!
For example, between Starting the Setup Wizard stage and Import stage, Yoast is not detected. I deactivated Yoast and tried it, but it does not work. I then activated yoast and tried it again, it did not work. I deactivated Yoast. I think with the current Rankmath update stage 1:3 the Import data from: IMPORT seo Settings is not visible.
Thank you for the supportHello,
Thank you for your patience, and apologies for the inconvenience.
Could you please share the exported file from Yoast so we can check as well? You can upload a file using this tool and share here the link.
Also, if possible, we might need to take a closer look at the settings.
Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
