Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please make sure your Google account is correctly connected to the Rank Math account: https://rankmath.com/kb/connect-your-google-account/
Once connected, let’s start the fresh data fetch. Please follow these steps:
1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Database Tools and click the ‘Rebuild Index’ button. Have a look at this screenshot for your reference – https://i.rankmath.com/6PUuJn
2. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab, and click the ‘Delete Data’ button and then click the ‘Update Data Manually’.
Check out this screenshot for your reference – https://i.rankmath.com/fvcsbF
3. It will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.
4. Once the process is complete, please recheck the Analytics page.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
I followed your instructions, but it still says “0” for all traffic 🙁
Hello,
Please ensure that you have created a Universal Analytics property and not GA4.
https://rankmath.com/kb/using-ga4/
If you have created the Universal Analytics property, reconnect Rank Math to your Google account by going to Rank Math > General settings > Analytics > Reconnect
Once done, please wait for some time to let Rank Math fetch the data from your Analytics and Search Console property.
We hope that helps. Please don’t hesitate to contact us again if you need further assistance.
Thank you
After I preformed the “Reconnect,” I see some activity in the Google Analytics dashboard. BUT, it’s still not showing “active users.” AND I don’t see any activity in WordPress 🙁
Hello,
I tried to look for Analytics code, in the source code of your website, and couldn’t find one.
Please follow this guide to cross-check the same at your end:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1032399?hl=en#zippy=%2Cin-this-article
Please re-enable the Install Analytics Code option to automatically insert the analytics code to your website. You can find this option under your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics.
Please follow this tutorial guide for more details:
https://rankmath.com/kb/install-google-analytics/#num-5-enable-the-install-analytics-code-setting
Further, clear your website’s cache and wait for a few days to let Google Analytics track and populate data on your Google Analytics dashboard.
Could you also, follow the steps from our Knowledge Base article on zero search traffic here:
https://rankmath.com/kb/zero-search-traffic-error/
That being said, in the Free version of Rank Math, all the analytics data is fetched from Google Search Console. Could you please check the Performance report on your Google Search Console account to see if data is present there?
If there is any discrepancy, and if the data in the GSC doesn’t match with the data in Rank Math’s analytics dashboard, please follow this tutorial guide to initiate a fresh data fetch again: https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/
If not, I’d request you to be patient and wait for Google to fetch the data and reflect it on the Dashboard.
Please let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you further.
Thank you
Hello,
We have one of our developers looking into the situation. Can you please add the email of one of our developers specialized in the Analytics module to Google Search Console and Google Analytics for your websites? This is the email address: k*******@r***********
This way he could debug the connection and fully understand what’s causing the issue.
You can follow this guide to add a user in Google Analytics:
https://www.monsterinsights.com/docs/how-to-grant-user-access-in-google-analytics/
We really appreciate your kind patience regarding this matter.
Thank you.
I’ve added permissions for Google Analytics and Google Search console. k*******@r*********** should now have access to Diversifly.net
Let me know if you need any additional info/persmissions/etc.
Thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it! Hopefully it’s an easy fix. I really want to learn how to set up everything correctly so that I can do it to my other sites.
Thanks again!
Hello,
We have heard back from our developer and said that your Google Search Console is almost empty and that the only data is from Jan 3 of 2022. The result is shown in this screenshot:
He confirmed that there is no issue with the plugin. And since you have setup the free version of Rank Math, you won’t be able to see Google Analytics data for the search traffic.
Kindly check on your end and let us know how things go.
Hope this helps and please feel free to reach out to us again in case you need any other assistance.
We are here to help.
Thank you.
