  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

You can’t set two different Global Templates for the categories & subcategories as they both are the same taxonomy. If you want a different title and description for subcategories then you will have to do that manually by editing each subcategory.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

Hi I have figured out how to implement it for one category but i am not sure how to do this in bulk

    ref: dealsplace.com.au/furniture

Hi Jaideep its the same format
Please check the reference link i have just updated

    Thanks

    Hello,

If you want to set a template for all your product categories including the subcategories then please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Product Categories and set a global title and description template.

    Hope this helps.

Let us know if you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.

That’s i am not able to figure out , that much English i understand

if u are really willing to help just forward me an example of the format i have used and how to update.

    Hello,

Please try using this template Shop %term% Bargains Online - %sitename%.

    Hope this helps.

Let us know if you need any other assistance.

The rest of it is fine …. but the category is for example Furniture that’s not showing up. I reached that far but the category is not coming dynamically.

I have updated furniture and bedroom furniture manually

    Hello,

Sorry, I misspelled %term% in my previous reply. Please use this and it will fetch the category title: Shop %term% Bargains Online - %sitename%.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thanks.

Perfect thanks a lot it worked .

For Description, Whats the best format do you recommend. Sorry i know its not in the scope but still thought will ask thanks again

    Hello,

You can simply add a simple but brief description for your category. Meta descriptions can technically be any length, but Google generally truncates snippets to 155 or 160 characters. It’s best to keep meta descriptions long enough that they’re sufficiently descriptive, so we recommend descriptions between 50 and 160 characters.

Another thing is that your meta description should contain a keyword which you are trying to rank.

By default, Rank Math uses %excerpt% which grabs a few words from the beginning of your content. If %excerpt% is already enough to optimize the meta description of your categories, you can leave it as is.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thanks for that

I have 2 more but major questions

    1. I can only add one focus keyword but no additional keyword in categories? why is that? Its mentioned that for a free version up to 5 keywords are allowed. Please clarify at the earliest

    2. Say i buy a pro version can i upgrade to a business version in a month or so and if so will my existing credits and benefits will be adjusted.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    1. The maximum of 5 keywords is only applicable for your regular posts/pages and CPT.

Rank math will only allow one Focus keyword in the Taxonomy pages(Category/Tag etc.), as there are no tests for the secondary keywords in such a small piece of content.

We have a dedicated article with regards to this for you to further understand why we only allow one focus keyword on taxonomy pages: https://rankmath.com/kb/focus-keywords-in-categories/

    2. Yes, basically, purchasing a much higher plan will give you much higher AI credits, Keywords, and client sites. You may compare the plans here: https://rankmath.com/pricing/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi Morning

My Sitemap generated by Rankmath is not validating. Bing and Google are showing errors
    https://dealsplace.com.au/sitemap_index.xml.

    Please advise

    Thanks
