    Hello, Rank Math team,

    I’m hoping you can help me with my client’s website is not being indexed on Google.

    On December 5th, I submitted this sitemap to GSC: https://www.mrm-messer.de/sitemap_index.xml.

    I also edited my robots.txt to open the website up for crawling: https://www.mrm-messer.de/robots.txt.

    Of course, I also un-set “Discourage search engines” in WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading.

    Today, the website is still not indexed on Google. GSC says it’s been read successfully, but on Coverage, it’s all zeros with 3 (intentionally, by me) excluded pages.

    When I explicitly check https://www.mrm-messer.de, GSC tells me the page is not on Google, but not due to any mistakes. “Found – currently not indexed”.

    Today was the second time I specifically asked Google to index that page, last time was Dec 18th.

    Am I just being too impatient?

    I checked some of the posts on your website, they’re already set to index with Rank Math.

    Discovered, not indexed, means that the Googlebot has already discovered those URLs.

    Please note that it is completely upto Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your page – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your page yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

    I’d request you to please be patient.
