long term keyword limits

    Hey there Rank Math team…hope you’re doing well. I have a WordPress site for years and have been using your free version and happy with it. I recently have compiled a large number of long tail keywords and wanted to place them into my WP site but am having trouble as upon saving them it will show only one afterwards. It is several hundred LSI keywords so my question is do I have a limit as to how many I can add? Also, I have the list of keywords separated by a comma then a space…any issues? Lastly, I am adding them on the edit keywords page then saving them…is that the way you suggest. Thx, but have tried looking online for hours and cannot find the exact answers to move me forward from these problems. Thanks for all. Brian

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Rank Math allows you to enter up to 5 focus keywords per post.

    We would recommend that you have a manageable number of focus keywords. The keywords entered on the focus keyword field are used as a pivot for the Rank Math tests and thus adding more keywords would mean that you need to modify/optimize the content for these keywords to maintain your page score.

    The focus keyword is separated by , or enter key.

    Here is how you can add multiple keywords:
    100

    Thank you for your clarification. I thought adding long tail keywords helped to rank in areas not as competitive leading to an overall higher click rate….

    You should add long-tail keywords in the content of your post as they are more specific and less competitive.
