Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
The wp_actionscheduler is a WordPress script that many plugins, including Rank Math, utilize for creating scheduled actions. The tables are created to make the Analytics module work and pull data from your search console and Google Analytics profiles.
However, ActionScheduler is required for Rank Math Analytics. If you’re not using it, you can manually delete the wp_actionscheduler_logs data.
If you check the actions inside that table and you see most are completed ones you can safely delete those from the actions table.
It’s likely that you’ll see some actions related to our Analytics module there but it will also have actions from other plugins that rely on the ActionScheuler plugin.
Head over to WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions and see what actions you have on that list.
Any action that has a status of completed can be safely deleted from the list.
Please note that we always recommend creating a backup first when working with databases and making such actions.
I hope that helps.
Thank you.
Ok… after checking the database here’s what I have.
actionscheduler_actionsWHEREhook` LIKE “%rank_math%” = 19809988 rows
actionscheduler_actionsWHEREhookLIKE "%rank_math%" ANDstatus` = “complete” = 19785161 rows
actionscheduler_actionsWHEREhookLIKE "%rank_math%" ANDstatus` = “pending” = 24827 rows
actionscheduler_actionsWHEREhook` NOT LIKE ‘%rank_math%’ = 8 rows
At first, it looked like what it was doing was happening every minute, then turned into every 30 seconds. Not sure if that is a fault on Rank Math or something else. Whatever the case Rank Math appears to be logging an incredible amount of requests, also the records are getting cleaned up. Unless it simply has not had a chance to clean them up.
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress, database admin & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
The credentials you gave us don’t allow for access to the scheduled actions section but it seems that most of the actions are already completed by looking at the data you shared previously.
Those actions can be safely deleted from your installation and it should gain you back some space just by removing those.
If you are constantly running the Analytics module and importing fresh data into the website it will cause the database to increase exponentially and quite fast.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
I’m going to try and uninstall, then reinstall the plugin. In its current state, I cannot activate the plugin as it will max out the memory and entry procs on the server, making the site unusable.
Rank Math was and still is installed on the development version of this site without any apparent issues. Not sure if it did not like the migration process.
Hello,
As we mentioned previously this seems related to the actions of the Analytics module that try to fetch the data from all the days into the website and might generate a lot of actions.
You can try to disable the Analytics module temporarily after clearing the entries from the database and see if the issue persists.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
