Hi,
I noticed quite a high server load after moving the blog to a new server. Rank Math was already active on the site before – didn’t notice this on the old server but didn’t monitor it too.
After investigating a bit and switching plugins off and on again I noticed Rank Math being the cause. The queries in MySQL look like scans for images where a search based on the guid of the image is made. The DB load is quite high (CPUs at 100% at a dual core exclusive CPU VPS) and it seems to take hours and days to get finished.
I posted info from the mysql process log to the sensitive data field on this post.
I wonder what’s going on here and why Rank Math seems to scan all images. The blog has around 10k images which may by the reason why it takes long but still I wonder what’s going on here.
I don’t have images included in Sitemaps and also don’t use the missing ALT/Title-Tag Feature.
