    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

I searched your website on Google and was able to replicate that only a single page is indexed.

I checked a few URLs and they’re already set to index. The robots.txt also seems fine.

However, upon investigating, I tested the sitemap variations with https://httpstatus.io/ and found that all the variations are returning a 200 status.

Except for the preferred variation (which should return only a 200 status), all the non-preferred variations of the website should redirect to the preferred variation and return a 301 + 200 status.

Please follow the steps in this link:
https://rankmath.com/kb/couldnt-fetch-error-google-search-console/#5-check-for-the-correct-version-of-the-sitemap and redirect to the correct variation.

You can also get in touch with your web host as they would be able to assist you with this.

Once done, please clear your website and server’s cache (if any) and remove all the sitemaps from your Google Search Console account and submit only the main sitemap (/sitemap_index.xml).

Further, give Google some time to crawl your website again and see if more pages start getting indexed.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

I noticed, that the issue regards the websites with the plugin woocommerce.

    Hello,

Sitemap redirects are handled separately from the main website redirects.
if you visit the following URLs you will see that some of them show blank pages
    https://ninfeaestetica.100botteghe.it/sitemap_index.xml
    https://www.ninfeaestetica.100botteghe.it/sitemap_index.xml
    http://www.ninfeaestetica.100botteghe.it/sitemap_index.xml
    http://ninfeaestetica.100botteghe.it/sitemap_index.xml

To fix this you can use the instructions in the sitemap redirects section of the following guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/

Hope that helps. If you have questions, please ask. We are here to help.

But if i put site:100botteghe.it I see that crawler of Google has worked.
    Why on this subdomain not?

The other subdomain has worked too: site:pasticceriadamolin.100botteghe.it

    Hello,

If you followed all the guides provided by colleagues previously, then wait for Google to recrawl the website and the sitemap and index the pages.

I have checked the sitemap file and I can see that all the links are present on the sitemap and are indexable. I believe that these links are in the queue and will soon be indexed.

Please note that it is completely up to Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your page – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your page yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

Please check this website for more details: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/definitive-list-reasons-google-isnt-indexing-site/118245/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

your collegues told me about the “200 issue”
Except for the preferred variation (which should return only a 200 status), all the non-preferred variations of the website should redirect to the preferred variation and return a 301 + 200 status.

How can I do to configure the sitemaps correctly?

    Hello,

To fix this situation you need to have redirections on your server that would redirect all versions of the website to the same variation, either HTTP or HTTPS and www or non-www.

If you are using an Apache webserver you can use the following article to help with those rules: https://htaccessbook.com/htaccess-redirect-https-www/

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

I notice that other web site that I manage are in the same situation; but thery are in the SERP of Google. I think because they are older (since 2018) and Google has crawled them.

It’s not a good thing, if I remain with 200 status in sitemap_index.xml?
I think Google before or later, put it on SERP …
Or it’s better to modify .htaccess?

    Hello,

There are many things that could result in your website not being indexed on Google. We might need to take a closer look at your website settings to establish the cause. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I checked the website, it is correctly set to index.

The robots.txt and the sitemap are also working fine.

However, all the variations of the sitemap are returning 200 status:
    sitemap

Please follow the guide shared by my colleague above and redirect to the preferred variation and resubmit the sitemap in Search Console.

Also, please note that crawling and indexing of the website depend on the authority and crawl budget of the website.

If your website is new, I will suggest you wait for some time and let Google crawl your website and index the website.

    Hope that helps.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
