Batch Bing Instant Indexing Doesn’t Work

There is something wrong with Instant Indexing: Bing Submit. It submits one by one, but for some reason it is not working from Bulk actions.

    1. It is happening with two sites, one with version 1-0-76-1 and the other with version 1-0-78. Both have installed Google Instant Indexing (followed the settings as shown in https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/) Both were working right on previous versions, when both (Index to Bing and Index to Google were separated on WP main menu, now both are at the same menu entry: Rank Math > Instant Indexing)

    2. Another issue I see is that Bing Instant Indexing is not pushing the right remaining quota, for example on one of those sites it states that I have 3/10; while according to Bing Webmaster Tools, I have 93

    3. It is working ok on other sites that I do not have installed Google Instant Indexing

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    1. Could you please share the Raw Response so that we can understand the insights of the issue?

Here’s how you can get the Raw Response: https://i.rankmath.com/2vtCie

    2. Please clear your website and browser’s cache and then send a post for indexing and see if that updates the quota.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.

    Hello Prabhat,

I have done the test clearing website and browser’s cache…

    1. I do not have that “Show Raw Response” option, perhaps I have the free version of RM

    2. It keeps showing that I only have 3 remaining quota, when in reality I have 93:

    3. I have tested on a website that I only have configured Bing to instant index and it is working. I’ve got the success message and the quota also is shown correctly:

    4. The problem occurs on 2 sites that I have configured instant indexing for BOTH: Bing and Google. I just tried submitting one single post via batch indexing and no success message is shown:

    Hello,

The Quota you see in the Instant Indexing section depends on the age of your website. It can range from 10 submissions per day for new websites or 10,000 for fairly established ones.

The Quota resets every 24 hours.

This quota will be increased/decreased periodically depending upon the usage and requirement. But that said, if you feel the quota allotted for your website is insufficient, you can raise a request to Bing for reviewing & updating your quota accordingly.

Here’s a link on how to increase quota:

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello Reinelle,

    1. I know the quota changes and depends on the website, etc. The thing is comparing at the same time and in the same domain, AND for the domains that I have set up BOTH Bing and Google instant indexing, the quota that I have on my Bing Webmaster for that domain does not correspond to the quota shown on RankMath plugin. Please check the attachment:

    2. The other issue has got to do when I try to submit Instant Indexing via batch. I only submitted one post and it is not working. Again, this bug is happening ONLY when I have setup BOTH Bing and Google instant indexing (on websites that I only have setup Bing for instant index, it works great) …

    Hello Jeremy,

I have followed the steps again and the issue persists. It works on my other sites that I haven’t set up Google’s API together with Bing API. Also this issue did not happen on a previous version when I used to have two separate menu entries on WP dashboard (one for Bing Instant Indexing and one for Google Instant Indexing)

    Thanks,
    Marco

    Hello,

We spent considerable time trying to debug the issue but couldn’t find the culprit until now.

Could you please add FTP credentials so that we can make changes to the plugin files to try and get to the bottom of the issue?

    Looking forward to helping you.
