    Dear support,

    I use TranslatePress for different languages, RankMath for SEO and WP Rocket for caching. Each page has a hreflang to point to the different languages, and I know that should be sufficient for Google. However, WP Rocket preloads pages from the sitemap. Because RankMath doesn’t include each language in the sitemap, this means that only my main language is cached, and that all other languages are slow loading.

    I contacted WP Rocket and they wrote me: “If you want that WP Rocket cache all the languages, you must put on the sitemap all the languages.”

    Also several other caching plugins use the sitemap for caching, so it seems to be very handy to have a complete sitemap, including all languages. How can I get a full sitemap with all languages? I know Yoast has this for example, but I would rather stick with Rank Math. Is there maybe a sitemap plugin that fixes this problem? Could Rank Math please ADD this function? When I search I see many people asking for this.

    You must contact TranslatePress and ask them to create a similar module for Rank Math that they created for Yoast:
    https://translatepress.com/docs/addons/seo-pack/

    Your translated URLs will be included in the sitemap afterward and this issue will cease to exist.

    I asked TranslatePress, and this is their reply:

    We have support just of Yoast SEO Sitemaps.

    Every sitemap plugin generates their sitemap in a particular way, thus we need to add individual support for each sitemap plugin. It’s a requested feature, and we count it, but we don’t have a timeframe for it.
    You can use Rank Math plugin for sure, but our SEO Pack Add-on adds support for Yoast SEO Sitemaps so they correctly represent each individual translation.

    We are extremely sorry about and I can understand the situation you are in.

    Is there any particular reason for using TranslatePress? You can use WMPL, one of the most popular multi-language plugins and it works great with Rank Math.

    Although, I can understand the same argument can be made for using TranslatePress + Yoast.

    So, it is upto you to decide which combination you like better 🙂

    Of course, we would love it if you choose us but we can also understand if you don’t want to due to this pending issue with TranslatePress.

    I used WPML as well in the past (even have a full license) but TranslatePress is much faster to setup. Like 10 times faster. Much handier with automatic translations. Also the loading time seems to be better.

    WPML is a bit like 2014, TranslatePress is 2020.

    TranslatePress has some negative points as well, but it clearly wins.

    If it is an option, you could seek the services of a freelance dev to create a custom glue addon for your site to fix the compatibility between Translatepress and Rank Math.
