Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
500 errors are server errors, could you please get in touch with your host and seek their help in checking the kind of errors that are reported on the error log?
Having an error log will help us determine what is causing the error on your website.
Looking forward to helping you with this one.
Looking at the web server error logs, there is no error showing for this. So it must be plugin related. As I mentioned, I’ve never seen this issue before. I usually just see “success”.
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I sent you over temp access. Just FYI, I tried to add a key that is already working and active on another site, and got the same error.
Thank you for your help!
Hello,
I tried checking for conflict using the Health Check plugin.
The API is returning a 403 error in troubleshooting mode:
Please re-check the Search Console settings as this is a problem on the search console, the service account is not listed as an owner. You can follow these steps to fix this:
On the next page, add the service account as an owner with the button:
Then, head back to the Search Console and refresh to confirm that the service account has been added correctly.
If this does not fix the issue, it is possible that you have missed some steps in setting up the plugin.
Please follow the instructions in this guide once again:

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
I really don’t know what the problem is. The service account does have owner role
If you log back in and try again, you will probably get the 500 error. I put the original key back. I’m a bit disappointed because I have been so impressed by the quality of your work. This is probably some sort of oversight…
Hello,
As we indicated earlier the 5xx errors are server errors and the only way to track it down is by looking at the entire log and seeing what’s shown there.
If you don’t see anything in the server error log, please make sure that error logging is enabled on your server and is written to the file that you are looking for.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
