  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Links with a custom set canonical won’t show up on the sitemap and especially if that canonical URL is already present in the sitemap there’s no point adding them there.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

So if google visits the post that has 10 canonical links. Will it crawl them too(not indexing)

    Hello,

Google will choose one URL as the canonical version and crawl that, and all other URLs will be considered duplicate URLs and crawled less often. Google sees these as duplicate versions of the same page.

Here is an article that might help you:
    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/consolidate-duplicate-urls

Hope this clarifies your doubt. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

Thank you one more help needed regarding schema.

Instead of choosing schema types manually in every post. Is there a way to choose some schema types(3 schemas) to load on all posts.

    Hello,

Using multiple schemas is only available with the Rank Math PRO version.

Here’s a link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/multiple-schema-types/

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

That was not helpful. I clearly mentioned my client is using pro version he wants to add schema type to his posts which is more than 1000+

So instead of going to each and every post to add multiple schemas. Is there a way to add multiple schemas to all posts.. Like via functions or htaccess or any other method.?

    Hello,

Since your client is using the PRO version. Could you please share the email address of that PRO account so we can further help you with your concern?

With that said, there are ways to add a schema globally or to all your posts at once.

You can set the default schema type in your Titles & Meta settings page and apply it in your posts via bulk editing.

Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [your post type] and select the desired default schema type:

    type

Then, head over to your post list and you can apply that default schema type to multiple posts:

    bulk

Another option is to make use of our schema templates that you can further customize and display globally. We have a dedicated guide for you:

    https://rankmath.com/kb/schema-templates/

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
