Display snippet at Website

    For quite some time, Rank Math Seo has been displaying the snippet on a single page. I disabled the plugin and then the site was delivered correctly. As soon as Rank Math Seo is activated again. the snippet appears at the bottom again.

    I checked all the settings and compared with the other pages. There are no different settings. However, on the other pages like “Unternehmen” or “ifms” etc, this snippet is not ejected.

    There is also no script in the HTML source of the page that could throw out the snippet.
    Using Chrome’s dev tool I detect a DIV “rank-math-rich-snippet-wrapper”. How do I get that to hide? I am working with Elementor.

    All plugins and also WordPress are up to date.

    Regards, Heike

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    I’ve checked the link you shared, and it seems that you have inserted the Rank Math schema shortcode on your content.

    No schema found.

    The schema data will be displayed if you have that shortcode on your content.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    No, there is no schema code anywhere. I can send you all the code if you want. But you’re also welcome to check it with the code inspector and see that there’s nothing stored anywhere.
    And by the way, it’s a little weird. If I delete the logo at the top of the page, then the logo at the bottom is also gone (in the media I didn’t delete the graphic), but the text remains. So there must be a connection at the top with the graphic.

    That’s exactly why I’ve already deleted the whole widget from scratch once. But still, when I inserted the logo, that same logo was back at the bottom.

    Do I have to manually download some file via FTP and then edit it with an editor? If so which one? Because on the direct page in the HTML is nothing to see. I can also show the source code.

    Hello,

    As a quick fix, you can add the below CSS code to hide that section from the page:

    #rank-math-rich-snippet-wrapper{
        display: none;
    }

    You can follow this guide to ad the CSS code:
    https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-easily-add-custom-css-to-your-wordpress-site/

    However, if you’ve not added the shortcode and you do not wish to get that section displayed, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    We really look forward to helping you.

    Thank you very, very much. The CSS thing helped. I would have tried something like that with a dot in front and not a hash.

    However, the recommended plugin is also really helpful in other situations. Always thankful for tips like that!

    I must say, your support is really great even for the free version! Very big praise. I have already recommended you a lot. And of course there are 5 stars :)!

    Let’s see if I can convince my boss to buy the pro version in the future.

    Please keep well!

    Regards, Heike
