  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The Rank Math SEO analysis tests are recommendations and should not be followed religiously. I am however happy to pass this on to our dev team as a feature request so that we check subdomains in future.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks a lot and hope the request will be integrated 🙂

    Hello Ralf,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    I wanted to clarify.

We are not asking you to move your website to https://www.o2.surfen-telefonieren.de/

We are just recommending that you redirect the www version to the non-www version since currently https://www.o2.surfen-telefonieren.de/ is throwing an error. It should ideally be redirecting to the non-www version.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello, let me explain again:

I not that http://www.domain.com and domain.com should show the same and one should be redirected.

But instead of http://www.domain.com i have subdomain.domain.com with a different content. It is not possible to make a www version of a subdomain.

So your test should check if it is a sudomain in in this case disable the test.

    Hello Ralf,

Actually, you can enable www version of a sub-domain.

So, our test is not really faulty but please feel free to ignore it.

The score is there only for your reference anyway and doesn’t affect your actual rankings. Treat it only as a to-do list, nothing more. Don’t try to live by it and don’t follow the tests religiously.
