Manually set schema markups vs RankMath

    Hello,
Long story short I’m using generatepress and I have this code set as a template for all my pages:
    <h1 class="entry-title" itemprop="headline">{{post_title}}</h1>
    or
    <h1 class="site-title" itemprop="headline">{{post_title}}</h1>
On the front end it displays normal page title, but it adds schema markup.

My question is, should I remove it before setting up RankMath or can I leave it without any conflict?
These schema markups that I have – is it the same thing that you set up in RankMath’s Snipped Editor (as title)?

    Hi Krystian,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Rank Math already adds proper schema to your posts. You do not need any other schema option for that. You can safely disable the setting in your theme options.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you!
In case I set up RankMath before deleting these theme options.
Do I need to go through setup wizard second time after deleting them?

    Hi Krystian,

Not at all. These are added to the pages on the fly. You can choose or change your rich snippet options at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts.

I also highly recommend going through the following guide to set up the plugin completely and correctly:

    and

I hope that helps. Please let me know if there’s anything I can help you with.

    Thanks!
