Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
Upon investigating the page, I found that you’ve set the max-snippet
length to 1
.
![](https://i.rankmath.com/7iWlEv+)
This means that you’re allowing Google to show only 1 character in the snippet and thus Google didn’t choose to show that.
The default value of max-snippet
is -1
which means that it is up to Google to decide how many characters to include in the snippet.
Please edit this post and change the max-snippet
value to -1
.
Here’s a screencast on how you can do that: https://i.rankmath.com/4NFcdO
Once done, please clear your website’s cache and give Google some time to crawl the website again and see if that fixes the issue.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
Thanks I will make this fix. However it happens on almost all my posts, not just this one. Do I need to manually fix all of them?
Hello,
It is better to change them.
However, the pages where you’re facing the issue should be updated first.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
