Hi there,

How can I set up my blog’s homepage meta description that appears when someone finds my site on Google? I followed a few tutorials you have on the site, but it still isn’t working properly on my site. I wonder what I am missing, and I would like to know if you could help me figure that out.

If you have a static page as homepage, you can set the meta description by going to that page > SEO settings > Edit Snippet > Description:

If you are not having a static homepage, you can change the description from the Titles & Meta settings.

Please note that even if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
