Sitemap read in GSC but pages not indexed

    Pages in my sitemap aren’t being indexed. Google is periodically reading my sitemap, as I’ve seen this change over time. However, even the homepage which I can see is in indexed isn’t appearing as a discovered URL in Google Search Console. Not sure if it’s the Rank Math sitemap or Google playing around.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    Please note that Google crawls the sitemap and website according to the crawl budget of the website. It is possible that the crawl budget for your website is exhausted and Google is not able to discover the URLs within your sitemap.

    Please exclude the sitemaps from caching by following this guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    Once done, clear your website cache and resubmit the sitemap_index.xml and wait for Google to recrawl the sitemap.
