    Hi, I would like to insert the product category variable to meta description, I tried all the way but it is not working. Please research the issue.

    %wc_category% & %category% not working

    and we inserted %excerpt% variable for product single description but for some of the product it is not showing meta description, Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/1ycbwr1 . Please solve these two problems so that we can go with pro version

    To show the product category on your meta description, you should use the %term% variable.

    Could you please confirm if that is the description you wanted to show? For the missing meta description upon editing your products, please clear your website’s cache and check if the issue still persists.

    The value of the variable will only be fetched in the frontend. If you check your page’s source or use a tool like https://heymeta.com to check the meta data then you will be able to see the name of the product category there.
