Social share doesn’t represent what I entered in RM

    Hi there,

    I am trying to get social sharing (especially FB) to show the info I entered in the social tab of RM, but I fail. Here’s a screenshot of what I entered: http://prntscr.com/qrpkl4

    But upon sharing, the page title is being used instead of the title I entered under the social tab, and also, the first H tag is put in front of the description, see http://prntscr.com/qrpl5y

    Would you have any idea how to resolve this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    You have some duplicate OpenGraph tags on your pages, the second batch of the tags shown below is the one that is getting picked up by the Facebook debugger.

    I can suggest that you try to isolate the plugin that is adding the extra tags and disable it. You can also check whether these tags are loaded by the theme by temporarily switching to one of the stock WP themes.

    Hi, thanks for getting back. I see the issue, Apparently my theme has an OG setting which I disabled and now all is fine, thanks!
