Hello any update??
Hello,
I lowered the number of URLs per sitemap to 100 in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings.
Please give it a shot now. It should work now.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
Hi Thank you for your reply. I tried to submit the sitemap again. But it showing same error. Please check the screenshot here: http://imagehost.cc/image/tDYlx
Hi Runa,
Thanks for the follow up.
Please login to the new version of GSC and head over to the “Inspect url” search bear at the top of the page and enter the URL to your sitemap. Please let me know the kind of errors that are returned.
Hope to hear back soon.
Oky here is the result of Inspect url Test. please check this: http://imagehost.cc/image/tIPRf

please let me know if you also need my GSC access to check the issue from your end
Hello,
I checked the screenshot and it says “URL is Unknown to Google”. Upon checking further, I noticed your website is pretty newly registered but seems to be an expired domain that you registered. Looks like it was penalized in the past.
Could you please disable the Sitemap module of Rank Math and use Google XML Sitemaps plugin instead to generate a sitemap?
Try submitting that in Google and see what you get. Please do share the results with us.
Thank you.
I disabled Rank Math sitemap module and install Google XML Sitemaps plugin to generate sitemap and I remove Rankmath generated sitemap from GSC and trying to submit new sitemap generated by Google XML Sitemaps plugin. But it is also showing same problem
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today and apologies for the delay.
It looks like the issue here is that you are trying to index your sitemaps and these don’t need to be indexed. We do not recommend that sitemaps appear on Google searches.
I hope this info helps. Thank you.
if I disable Rankmath sitemap module and and use other feature of rank math, then is there any negative seo effect?
Hello Runa,
We are so sorry about that.
Is it possible that you can disable CloudFlare temporarily? We have seen this issue not only with Rank Math but other SEO plugins as well and the only thing common we have found so far is CloudFlare.
Simply pressing this icon once should disable it.
When you want to reactivate it, simply press the button again.
We are positive that this will help fix the issue. Do let us know how it goes.
Oky this is my current cloudflare setting. please check this: http://imagehost.cc/image/tGTv3
And let me know if there anything to do
Hi Runa,
Perfect.
Do check the Sitemap now. Is it working?
Hi sorry for late reply. Unfortunately its still not working. But I notice when I publish a new post and request indexing the link in my GSC then google indexing my new post within few hours ( 2 or 3 hours). I have few questions:
1.) Do you think this is happening because the domain was expired before? If so then should I wait few weeks to submit the sitemap again? In the mean time the domain will be known with my GSC.
2.) If I disable sitemap module and use google xml sitemaps plugin, can I still use other features of rankmath plugin? or are there any negative seo effect if I use Google xml sitemap plugin with rankmath plugin?
I really love Rankmath Plugin and I can’t explain how this plugin reduce my on-pages seo works on my site. I really want to use RM always in my site. I would highly appreciate if you answer my above question and give me any helpful tips regarding the issue.
Thanks
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
No I don’t think that this issue has something to do with the expired domain, but our past experience has shown us that one of the major causes of this issue is the Cloudflare cache. Please keep this disabled and try after sometime.
Yes you can, this is an independent module and deactivating it will not affect the rest of the Rank Math features.
I hope this info helps. Thank you.
