If the data were not imported upon installation of Rank Math on your site, you can start again using the Import & Export feature. Here’s a link for more information:

also, the metadata from Yoast was still there, rank math didn’t replace them it just added
I’m not sure if I understand your concern here, and please correct me if I’m wrong. If you don’t want Rank Math to import the metadata from Yoast, you can uncheck the Import Post Meta on the import list settings.
