Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math.
Yes, you should have a meta description.
You can follow this guide to add the meta description using Divi:
https://rankmath.com/kb/homepage-meta-title-and-description/#using-divi-builder
I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
Great!
That made the meta description active.
How long may it take before i can find the meta description in Google search?
There is another tool from Rank Math which may trigger after update by Google. But there is a warning connected to it. I do not understand when you may use it or not. My site is a membership site where my customers subscribe to using a PC-application of mine.
Would it be advisable for me to use “Instant Indexing” by Rank Math to get the changes i have performed to be reflected by Google faster?
Also, i have added data for Google Search Console to be linked and gotten it verified by Google but in Rank Math it still says that Search Console is not linked. What is missing?
Best Regards, Henrik Eriksson
Hello,
You need to wait for Google to recrawl the URL, however, please note that even if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
You can refer to this guide for more information:
https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/
Regrading Instant Indexing, Google recommends that you use the Indexing API ONLY for Job Posting and Live Streaming websites.

If the SEO Analysis is not updating, please clear the SEO Analysis cache by going to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Clear SEO Analysis
Once done, clear the website and browser cache and re-run the SEO Analysis.
I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
Hi!
Thanks for response!
I have cleared SEO Analysis and Cleared cache from Microsoft Edge and then rerun SEO Analysis.
Still there is “error” on missing alt for images in report for SEO.
What more can I do?
Best regards Henrik Eriksson
