I have a feeling that the issue is related the data migration too. You can however fix this issue by resaving the older posts so that Rank Math can generate the new meta for the posts. But this would apply if you do not have so many posts.
Alternatively, you could also edit the database content directly, replacing all references of %post_title% to %title% and %post_excerpt% with %excerpt% in the meta_value column of the wp_postmeta table.
