Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
If you are getting a 404 error while trying to access your sitemap index, you may have to flush permalinks.
Simply head over to your WordPress admin area and go to Settings > Permalinks and hit the “Save Changes” button once even if you didn’t make any changes on the page.
This should fix the issue.
Looking forward to helping you.
i am not getting 404 error. When i am trying to open sitemap above mentioned link system is fetching wrong data. is there any setting
Hello,
The sitemap generated by Rank Math should be available on https://voucheranddeals.com/sitemap_index.xml but it is returning a 404 error on your site.
The sitemap you are seeing is either generated by some other plugin or there is a physical file present in your site’s root directory. Please check and if you are not able to figure this out then please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
Your sitemap index is giving a 404 on my end as can be seen in this screenshot:
Please follow the steps, I mentioned above. If that does not fix your issue then try this instead:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/Please let me know if that does not fix your issue. We are here to assist.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I checked and figured out there was a physical sitemap file present in your site’s root directory. I removed it and now your sitemap is working fine.
Please check and let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thanks.
thanks for your support. But when i click on any link of sitemap i.e https://voucheranddeals.com/dealstore-sitemap.xml system is showing 505 server error. kindly check and guide me
Hello,
I have checked your sitemaps and I was able to replicate the issue. So, I logged into your WordPress admin area and performed the troubleshooting, the sitemap still gives the 500 error when all the plugins are disabled and a default WordPress theme is enabled (I checked this using the Health Check plugin).
Not only with that sitemap, but it is also giving the same 500 error for page and post’s sitemap as well.
I suggest you get in touch with your web host as they would be in a better position to fix the error.
Please let us know how that goes.
Thank you.
