Cannot integrate GSC: “The link you followed has expired.”

    Hi Rank Math,

    when i try to authorize Google Search Console in ?page=rank-math-options-general, i can retrieve the Auth Code but when i enter it, i just see the spinner spinning for a short moment and nothing happens after that. The search console profile is not retreived. When i enter the Search Console identification string in ?page=rank-math-options-general#setting-panel-webmaster, i get the message “The link you followed has expired.”

    Does anyone know that problem any the solution for it?
    RankMath is Version 1.0.37.1
    I already upgraded from 1.0.37 to 1.0.37.1 as suggested on your FB site, but this did not solve the problem.
    just an idea – not sure if it helps: i got a punycode domain in my GSC profile, maybe rank math cannot handle the umlauts?

    just to make sure, you are talking about the GSC token, right? not the temp wordpress login that is stored in the sensitive data section of this thread?

    i updated the GSC token but i don’t see any way to extend the expiration…?

    got you. strange, the plugin tell me it will expire in 5 days. anyway, i created a new one and put it in the sensitive data section of this thread.

    strange, doesn’t work on my side neither. sorry for that!
    i disabled the temp login plugin now and created a conventional login. you can find the credentials in the sensitive data section.

    I think updating to 1.0.37.2 fixed the issue because I don’t see the issue anymore.

    Can you give me the steps to replicate the issue if you are still facing this?

    i made a screen recording and put the URL into the sensitiva data section.
