    Hello, I have the following message that appears when I launch the SEO analysis : “Could not check Focus Keywords in posts – the post meta table exceeds the size limit”.

    Following the update, go to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and Flush the SEO Analysis Data before running the analysis again.

    I have the plugin up to date! I also went to WP Dashboard> Rank Math> Status & Tools> Database Tools and I dumped the SEO analysis data before restarting the analysis. But the problem is still there!

    How to solve the problem ? I leave you in the “Sensitive Data” the connection link to the site dashboard! You will find logion and password there

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    That error happens when you have so many entries in the wp_postmeta that our plugin reaches the limit set by default.

    You can increase that limit with the help of this filter: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#change-post-meta-table-limit

    If that doesn’t help you might need to increase the number in the filter even more.

    Hope this helps solve your issues.

    Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    But where to increase this limit using this filter?

    Hello,

    You should add the filter in the theme’s functions.php file.

    The filter will set the limit to 500000(you can increase it by changing the number in the return statement in the filter):

    /**
     * Filter to change the Post Meta Table Limit
     */
    add_filter('rank_math/seo_analysis/postmeta_table_limit', function ( $limit ) {
    		return 500000;
    	}
    );

    Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    Once done, clear your website and browser cache and re-run the SEO Analysis.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.
