Unable to update customized SEO Title & Description

    Hi team,

    We have a serious problem here – I think it’s a bug from your new version. We can’t update customized SEO Title & Description for our latest blog posts. They always turn back to the automatic set up with %title% %sitename% etc.

    Previously when we edit the snippet they worked totally fine.

    Please fix it asap – it’s a very serious problem as we will need to switch to another plugin if this issue can’t be solved. Thank you.

    Please check if you are using a Firewall, as there are chances that it will prevent saving the data.

    If you are using a Firewall, please whitelist this route:
    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta

    Whitelisting the route should fix the issue.

    Please also clear your browser cache and cookies, and you should be able to update the meta data.

    Hi Abdullah,

    Thank you for your prompt response. I believe it happened after I set up WPRocket. But when I disabled WPRocket functionality on the blog post – the problem is still there.

    Is there any specific guide regarding WPRocket vs Rankmath conflicts?

    Hello,

    Please head over to Rank Math > Status & Tools, click on the Database Tools and do the following steps:

    Clear SEO Analysis.
    Remove Transients

    Please refer to my screenshot:

    database tools

    Then please also clear your browser cache and cookies and also the website’s cache from your WP Rocket plugin.

    Thanks for supporting. I found that WPEngine GES blocks these Rankmath functionalities. Sorted it out with them already :).
