Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
However it doesn’t work, however the above file paths don’t exist on my server?
Assuming you accessed these URLs directly and got the 404 response, it is normal to get that response and that doesn’t mean that the route doesn’t exist.
Please whitelist the routes, without the query part, and after clearing the website’s cache, see if the issue is fixed.

Please let us know how that goes.
Thank you.
Hi there,
In my wordpress directory, the following paths do not exist;
wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateSchemas
wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection
Is this some “virtual” structure for Rankmath?
The second question is, when I re-add the following to wordpress;
wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateSchemas
wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection
do I still select “Query String” but leave the Param blank?
cheers,
Andrew
Hello,
The REST routes are added to the WordPress directory.
You need to add the Param name as ?_locale=user
.
Here is a guide for your reference:
https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-wordfence/#num-2-add-allowlisted-urls
I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
Hi there,
no luck with those settings and I don’t want to put wordpress in learning mode as the site is not protected then.
Not sure why this changed several versions ago when it worked for all users 🙁
thanks,
Andrew
Hello,
As it is working for the admin user, this implies that the updateMeta
route does exist.
However, we might need to take a closer look at the issue. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
