Hello just a quick question for you.

I have installed your plugin just so I could nofollow specific links and domains.

I have noticed that in the nofollow domains section you can only add “Domains” to nofollow.
Can I use this section to nofollow specific URLS and add the urls in this section. Or is this only for “Domains”

I have a site that is giving off over 700 dofollow links to social media site. But I only want to nofollow certain URLs that pointing to the social media sites without nofollowing the whole domain.

Will your nofollow domains section allow me to just nofollow this example.

    twitter.com/TechNewsAust

So that only that URL is nofollowed instead of the whole twitter domain,

I also only want to make sure the rankmath plugin is providing the nofollow links service only. And is not performing any other SEO functions

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

You can only nofollow external domains with this option. You can read more about how this nofollow domain option works by following this link:

    https://rankmath.com/kb/nofollow-specific-external-links/#num-3-add-link-in-nofollow-domains

We hope that answers your question. Please feel free to contact us again if you need further assistance.

Is there any chance the development team can make a mod to the plugin so specific URLs can be nofollowed without it nofollowing the whole domain.

    The article is titled

How to Nofollow Specific External Links in WordPress with Rank Math SEO

Rather. If you are stating this can only nofollow certain domains the title should be.

How to Nofollow Specific External “DOMAINS” in WordPress with Rank Math SEO

The plugin would be much more helpful and SEO friendly if we could directly specify URLs without blocking the whole domain. As it sis good SEO practice do have at least 1 or 2 dofollow links pointing to social media sites.

The reason I was looking at this plugin because I found specific social links passing off thousands of dofollows to specific social media profiles and youtube vidoes. So I only wanted to nofollow/block these specific urls instead of nofollow/blocking the whole domain which would actually be bad for my onpage seo and kind of be counter productive.

I would really appreciate the feature to put in “Specific URLS”. This is the only thing that is stopping me from buying the premium version of rankmath now.

If rankmath could actually do this. You would be the first to publish such a plugin feature. Not even yoast has managed to include such as handy and critical optimisation feature. I wonder who is going to recognize that this is something thousands of us site owners have been asking for very long time now.

I would like to also ask.

I have nofollowed DOMAINS with the plugin. However, when I inspect the links manually I dont not see nofollow added to them. So where and how is nofollow being applied here?

    Hello,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I just added this to our internal list of suggestions and shared the same with the dev team for further discussion.

And can you please share the URL of the page and the name of the domain that you have marked as nofollow with Rank Math? Please make sure to clear the cache of your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks.

    Hello.

I am using the plugin to nofollow DOMAINS at the moment.

However, when I check the social links I wanted nofollowed they still dont have the nofollow rel tag attached to them.

Is the nofollow being applied somewhere else??

This forum is also not convenient. It does not allow to copy in images,

    Hello,

The nofollow tag is applied in the frontend. Can you please share the URL of the page and the name of the domain you have marked as nofollow?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks.

I have used your nofollow domains for the my social links.

Please look at the code on this URL. You will see there the social ICONs are at the top.

I dont seen there being nofollow.

    Hello,

I can check that the Social Icons are inside your header. Rank Math applies these settings only to the main content of your page. Since the links are not in the main content area of the page, the nofollow setting isn’t being applied to them.

Hope this clarifies your doubts. Let us know if you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.
