Rank Math does not save the configuration that is customized from the posts

    Hello good afternoon, I have done a clean install of WordPress for my personal site and I have installed Rank Math to handle my titles, meta description, etc.

    I did the configuration with the Rank Math wizard but when creating publications and registering them, it did not save the descriptions and titles that he customized. The title and description are replaced by the default ones in the plugin (the extract) and the keyword next to the SEO score is deleted.

    I have already reinstalled all WordPress thinking that it was my mistake when installing it, but after hours I realize that the problem is in the plugin.
    I don’t have any other plugin installed, just Rank Math and it still gives me the same problem.
    The settings from the plugin are saved normal, but when working with Rank Math from the publications it does not work.

    Hello,

    The issue seems to be caused by some error thrown on the console tab with status code 418.

    The file: /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta?_locale=user

    This is normally caused by the apache/PHP mod_security module within your hosting. Could you please let us know if you are using Dreamhost as they are known for this issue?

    As of now the recommended way to have this solved is to contact your web host on the issue and see if they are able to whitelist this file if possible.
