    Hey guys.

I seem to be having a new issue with the instant indexing API.

I have been using this without issues for about 4 months. It’s been great.
However, out of the blue it has stopped working for me and I now get an error.

    Error undefined

That’s a really annoying error- (Undefined)

So far I have removed the plugin and cleared all caches. Reinstalled and this has not helped.
I have not changed any settings, service accounts, GSC and everything else remains as is and in working order.

Additionally. In the time it decided to stop working basically all I did was a plugins update.
I have even gone to the length of creating a totally new key JASON file. This has not helped.

I have copied in the sensitive data

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

5xx errors are usually caused due to server misconfiguration or other server issues. Having the error log file will give a clear idea of why this might be happening.

You can follow this guide to enable debug mode in WordPress to get the error log
    https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-set-up-wordpress-error-logs-in-wp-config/

Or you can ask your web host and they should be able to help you locate the log files.

Looking forward to helping you with this one.

    Again

This is “NOT” a hosting issue.

Now that I have done a fresh plugin install and downloaded the latest version with updates. The plugin causes issues with our whole backend system and our site cannot function with the plugin installed.

All we did after using your plugin without issues for 4 months was run your plugin update. It was the update that broke everything!

    Not a hosting issue!

    Hello,

Since this error happened that is likely an entry in the server error logs with more information on this error.

This is likely caused by some fatal error and the server error log should have a more comprehensive error message that would explain exactly what is failing when submitting a call to the API.

Please report back to us with the error so that we can assist you better in finding the issue.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

There is nothing wrong my hosting account.

This problem started happening since your latest update!

    The update broke it!

What PHP version does this new plugin update require ?

    I am currently on 7.3.

Is this is a PHP version issue. As I think it maybe because the new update caused everything to not work. What is the latest PHP version required. And you should also be publishing this information and giving a warning before people do the latest update

    Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

You must check the server’s PHP values that are not too low to handle your site by going to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server.

If the values are low, please contact your web host and ask them to set the following values:

    PHP Memory Limit: 512M
    Max input time: 150
    PHP time limit: 120
    PHP max input variables: 1000

I hope that helps. Looking forward to your update.

    Thank you.
