You can edit it if it exists previously or you can also tell your hosting provider to do that.
If you want to rename the previous robots.txt file, you can follow the steps stated below:
1. Login to the Cpanel.
2. Open File Manager and go to the root directory of your website.
3. The robots.txt file should be in the same location as the index file (the first page) of your website if it was created previously.
4. Right-click on robots.txt file then click on “Rename” and just rename it “old-robots.txt”.
5. Finally click on the “Rename File”. That’s it.
