regenerate sitemap

    My sitemap hasn’t regenerated since 8/13 (it’s 9/2 right now). It still contains a business directory link from a plugin I no longer have installed, and does have any of the new items even though I have them set to include in the sitemap. I’m specifically interested in the Post Types of Artists – Listings and Shops – Listings

    I’ve tried forcing the permalinks to rebuild, and cleared the cache, but nothing seems to affect it. Is there any chance you could look and see if there is anything I am missing?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you have already increased the limit but the sitemap is not updating, please exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Thanks for the quick reply. I tried the htaccess no-cache, and then also disabling all of my caching and minifying and gzip’ing just to make sure nothing was getting in the way, but I’m still seeing the same old sitemap.

    Hello,

    We added the following filter to exclude the caching of the sitemap on your website:

    
add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_true');

    After doing that and flushing the permalinks the sitemaps all show correctly.
