Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Could you please confirm:
1. If your website is verified on Bing Webmaster Tools?
2. You used the same account to create the API that you have used to verify the website? Finally, please check if you can manually submit the URLs for submission from your Bing Webmaster tools > URL Submission:
If the issue persists, please set up the Bing Indexing API again, you might have missed some steps in setting up the plugin. This is a tried and tested method and we are certain that these instructions work.
https://rankmath.com/blog/bing-indexing-api/Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I can add manually and I can urls already added and two of them were added yesterday. So is it possible that when it says it hasnt automatically uploaded to bing that it takes some time to upload ?
and does the bing upload affect the SEO page ranking as my ranking isnt generally fantastic but I have so much to do I dont have any more time to spend on each page at the moment ?
Kind regards
AndrewHello,
If you are able to manually submit the URLs and still getting Failed to Submit error in Rank Math’s instant indexing module then, please try setting up the instant indexing again using this guide: https://rankmath.com/blog/bing-indexing-api/
And instant indexing doesn’t affect page rankings. It just helps you to get your URL indexed quickly in the search engines.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thanks Jaideep
Via that link I can see url submission and content submission. I assume I want url submission correct ?When I click get started it directs me to some JSon code. Apart from the fact I don’t even know what JSon is, what am I supposed to do with that code ?
Kind regards
Andrew
Hello,
It seems that you have clicked the wrong link, as it is for getting the Bing Instant Indexing API manually.
Please log in to your Bing Webmaster account at this link:
https://www.bing.com/webmasters/aboutOnce done, continue the process of verifying your website on this section:
https://rankmath.com/blog/bing-indexing-api/#verify-on-bingI hope that helps.
Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.
Sorry but were going round in circles here. Please review the history, you will see I have already verified my bing account, I can add urls and even the listings i add propogate and get added to bing they just arent instant, so I get annoying message in my wp dashboard from rankmath saying the instant index didnt work. If this can be fixed that would be great, otherwise shall I just ignore the rankmath warning as I know they are getting indexed eventually even though obviously i would prefer this feature to work correctly ? Kind regards, Andrew
Hello,
Please check if the daily quota is getting exhausted.
Rank Math shows the Failed to Submit warning when you try to submit new URLs and the quota is already exhausted.
I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.
I’ll check next time I see the notification
Is there any tangible benefit from instant indexing ?
Kind regards
Andrew
Hello,
The Instant Indexing API helps your website’s pages and content to be crawled instantly.
Do note that this does not always result in the indexation of the content as crawling and indexing of the website depends on the authority and crawl budget of the website.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
Thanks Anas
OK, well I think I’m getting this all the time meaning I have a problem that really is causing me too much of a headache.
I know you can only manually submit 10 urls a day and your colleague mentioned that yesterday. I’m not sure the problem can be related to that as I don’t submit 10 urls unless it is indexing urls created by by theme for things like pictures, tags etc ? If that is the case I could well be creating 10 a day. I still am not sure that could be the problem but does that limit apply to Rankmath instant indexing ?
Hello,
The limit is not set by Rank Math. You can confirm the limit in the Bing webmaster tool and the same will reflected in plugin page.
I hope that helps. Thank you.
Thanks Ankit
I know the limit isnt set by Rankmath I just needed to know if the manual limit applies to automatic submissions from Ranmath as well.
Also it would be interesting to know what urls are submitted because if it is urls for everything including, tags, regions, pictures…. then I will easily exceed Bings limit, I would think any site would.
It should be apparent from all previous communication that I am familiar with Bing webmaster tools, so need to reference me to their pages. The advice I need is related to how rankmath interacts with Bing.
I need to check whether the error comes up on my first submission but if that is the case, I either need hands on help or i think it would just be easier to turn that feature off.
Thanks again and kind regards
AndrewHello,
If you have some post types such as posts and pages being auto-submitted in the settings then each time one of those is saved it’s being automatically submitted and that could easily reach your quota of 10 submissions.
If you go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Instant Indexing you should be able to see the quota left for the day.
In case you have some quota available and still see the error then it’s a clear indication that this is not set up properly and we recommend starting from scratch and follow all the steps here: https://rankmath.com/blog/bing-indexing-api/
Hope this helps clarify your doubts.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
I’m not going to go round this circle forever, as much as I appreciate your generosity with your time. I have registered and verified the site a few times, manual url submission is working and posts are indexing I’m just getting the alert saying instant indexing hasnt worked. Thart could be because I’ve reached the limit I havent checked that. The only way ten could easily be reached is if its indexing every picture. I just noticed in rankmath settings it was set to index media which I assume includes pictures so I have deactivated that. Regards your advice on checking my quote through the dashboard, I couldnt see the option to see that in my dashboard, i had to go to bing webmaster to see if my quota had been reached but I havent posted anything today anyway. I would be interested to find where that quota is on my WP dashboard though as that would be more convenient. Thanks, Andrew
Hello,
You can check the quota by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Instant Indexing:
