Please ensure to configure your NGINX properly for Rank Math’s Sitemap to work. We actually have a guide for you to follow. Please refer to this link: https://rankmath.com/kb/xml-sitemaps-nginx/
If you are not sure about it, please contact your hosting provider.
After checking on the NGINX configuration, please follow these steps:
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/
3. Remove all your sitemap/s from Google Search Console and submit only the primary sitemap (sitemap_index.xml).
