Hi Team,
Earlier I had the same issue, fixed by flushing the cache and also bypass the cache in Cloudflare.

Issue happening again I am seeing the deleted posts and also new posts are not showing up.
Please advise

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I checked the sitemap, Cloudflare is still caching the sitemaps.
Please check if the page rule is added correctly in Cloudflare and purge the cache from Cloudflare.
Here is a guide for your reference:
https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/#cloudflareThat should fix the issue.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I pasted curl output it shows, no cache and status as BYPASS
cache-control: no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate, max-age=0
expires: 0
set-cookie: NB_SRVID=srv251766; path=/
vary: Accept-Encoding
cf-cache-status: BYPASSPlease check
Hello,
We might need to take a closer look at the issue. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include some of the affected URLs, WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Team,
It looks critical for us, can you please assist.
Noticed something.
Links Per Sitemap is 200 in the settings, recently added one more as you advised in the last support ticket ie now 201.
But each sitemap is actually showing 300 links per sitemap.
Hello,
I logged into your website’s admin area and it indeed seems like some sort of caching is still present.
I tested with another sitemap plugin and I was able to replicate similar issues.
However, could you please share the URLs of some of the deleted posts that are appearing in the sitemaps?
P.S. I’ve set the Links Per Sitemap to 200 and 200 links are shown in the sitemaps.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thank you.
Hi Prabhat Rai
I can see the sitemap updated, I checked a few deleted posts can’t see them anymore in the sitemap and also now seeing recently published articles ( which was not there before). Did flipping the Links Per Sitemap cleared the problem ? Or issue still exists?
I can’t remember or know any other cache expect, Cloudflare and wp-rocket.
Meanwhile, I have added a filter to disable cache in wp-content/themes/theme-name/rank-math.php, Should i add this in child theme ?
https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#enable-disable-sitemap-cache
Also <domain.com>post-sitemap1.xml contains 201 urls , but in settings you have set to 200 right ?
Hello,
Setting the links per sitemap the recommended value of 200 is fixing the issue, however, we suspect that some caching still might be applied since increasing the value is causing issues and in 201 URLs, the additional 1 URL is present.
Yes, you can add the code to the child theme.
Could you please get in touch with your hosting provider to confirm if there’s no caching applied?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thank you.
This website is hosted on a dedicated server using Nginx and has no caching enabled. ie No caching on the server-side. Are there any applications logs to tell which cache is causing this?
In theory, it should generate a new sitemap page when URLs are above 200 right? Why the rankmath not generating a new sitemap page?
Hello,
After inspecting the website, it looks like now the sitemap is updating fine. The extra URL you see on the first sitemap file is nothing but coming from the page you selected as a blog page. (WP Dashboard > settings > Reading)
Please kindly create a new post/page and check if the post is reflecting in the sitemap or not.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Thanks Ankit.
Yea seems it started working. Can see the new posts and deleted posts are getting removed as well. Hoping it won’t happen again.
Thanks, everyone for looking into it.
Hello,
