    Hi team,

    Quick question – do anchor links count as internal links?

    We have a one page website (about to launch) and are using anchor links for each section and they dont appear to count as internal links.

    Currently they look like #gallery. Do they need the full link e.g. rankmath.com/#gallery to count as internal links?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    In order for Rank Math to detect it as an internal link, you would need to include the full link including the domain and protocol. Please refer to my video screencast here: https://i.rankmath.com/qP8Pfu
