Problema snippet su google

#245598
  • Hi, I noticed that for a few days Google no longer reads the changes made on the Preview Snippet Editor. Usually for seo reasons I use a different title for search engines and social networks for example:

Item Name: Beckett (2021): Lo straniero e il complotto politico
Search engine article name: Beckett (2021): recensione, trama e cast film

The problem that google only shows me the official title of the article and not the one I set for him. This problem is present only on the Google search engine not on bing or ecosia.
This problem is present on all the articles of the site and in the long run it causes me a considerable drop in the positioning of the site on search engines. Maybe this problem could be caused by your latest update?

    The site in question: https://www.locchiodelcineasta.com/
I noticed the problem as of today and no changes have been made to the site.

  • I warn you, that the problem is spreading to all the articles on the site, even those that a day ago showed the right snieppet on google. Let me know as soon as possible. It seems google is updating all the titles on my page incorrectly. Let me know if you know for some reason.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked the affected URL, and the title you have set in Rank Math is already outputting correctly in the page’s source code. You can also verify the same using this tool:
    https://www.heymeta.com/

Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

Here’s a link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/#why-google-might-choose-not-to-use-your-meta-description

In this case, the best you can do is optimize your meta tags to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

Hi, maybe I have explained myself badly. The articles on the site all showed a title optimized for search engines while on wordpress and on social networks I went to show the title of the original article. Since yesterday on google I see the title of the article I use for articles on social media and wordpress, not the one I have optimized for search engines … why? I’m not talking about the description of the text but rather the title of the article. Why is Google now showing me a different title without considering the one I have optimized for search engines?

    Hello,

Since it’s entirely up to Google to decide what they want to show it in the SERP. We cannot do anything since google tends to change it according to the search query. I suggest you not use the title and keep it short and straightforward, which explains the page’s content.

If you think everything is good and still doesn’t reflecting, You can experiment with a different title. Just don’t overuse it.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
