Hi, we have successfully connected the Google Analytics account but don’t want to give Search Console privileges because our client requested it this way.
Per your documentation, analytics module should still work even with only partial privileges? Is this also correct for the Free version of Rank Math? Because on the comparison page I see that “Advanced Google Analytics Integration” is supposedly NOT active for the Free version.
Also when I check the plugin status under system info, in your documentation it says there should be notices of:
“Google Permission – AdSense: Given”
“Database Table: Google Analytics – Created”but I don’t see any of these, only visible is:
“Google Permission – Search Console: Not Given”
“Database Table: Google Search Console – Created”When I check the plugin code it seems to me that the status which is missing, is linked to the DB table “rank_math_analytics_ga” but this table is only checked if the Rank Math PRO file is detected?
We also tried the various DB tools like remove transients, re-create missing tables, purge cache, rebuild index but nothing has changed the situation. When we try to manually fetch the analytics data under settings, it says “in progress” but there is no additional progress info visible and also no new data from analytics coming in.
For the above reasons, we are unsure if the observed behaviour is correct under these circumstances, or if there is an error? Can you give additional information on this from your perspective?
Thanks,
Daniel
