Search text for product variations runs together

    When our WooCommerce products appear in Google search results, the variation text runs together awkwardly. Any ideas on how to make this more legible? Thanks!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    I’m not sure whether I fully understand the question. Could you please describe the issue that you are facing?

    Are you pointing towards the second highlighted keyword in the meta description of the search result?

    Also, please share the URL of the product in your screenshot so that we can have a closer look at the issue.

    Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Since those texts are inside the page source, Google is showing them. If it is a default WooCommerce variation. You can have a look here for the fix.

    Do let us know how it goes.

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Thanks for your reply. I’m ok with the text being shown. However, we need to have spaces between the variation options. As it is, it’s too illegible.

    Hello,

    Please kindly add the below code inside WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS

    .woocommerce div.product form.cart .variations td, .woocommerce div.product form.cart .variations th {
        line-height: 5em;
    }

    Then, clear your web browser cache and check.

    Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thanks for the reply! However, the search results I’m referring to are on Google. So on page CSS won’t be able to address that issue.

    Hello,

    Since, It’s up to Google to decide, however you can follow this guide here and give some extra space in the end.

    Do note that if everything’s fine and Google still decides to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta.

    Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hmm. Ok. I suppose we could try to add spaces to end of the variation names. However, I’d prefer to identify where Google is pulling the info from and modify it only in that one location. Do you know how this portion of the search result is generated?

    Hello,

    These data are coming from Tabular Searches, and sometimes outputs them when it finds it in a similar format on the page. Those extra facts come from the table associated with a query on the term used that shows tabular data about the product.

    I hope that helps.
