    Hi team,

I have set up article schema by default for all the post types but it is not showing in the post.
Can you please help me why it is not showing in every post or do I need to add it manually on every page?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your site, and it seems that Rank Math’s schema is not being added to your posts, but showing fine on your homepage.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Thank you.

    Hello,

It should have been shown/added to the posts but the entire schema section is missing from the source of the posts.

Could you confirm if you followed the plugin conflict guide that my colleague shared? If yes, then please let us know the outcome of it.

If you’re not sure, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hi Team,

We have followed the troubleshooting guide to check any plugin conflicts but there were no conflicts. We have just updated all the plugins and after that data from rank math is not showing.

Here are few notes of what we have done

    1) We have followed the troubleshooting guide shared by rank math, still, the issue is there.
    2) We have tested one page in the schema generator and found that schema is being added through rank math but there is a type error coming.
    Screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/AJqnMyAl0VPx
    3) Then we have added manually the article schema on the page, it is working.
    https://www.paolivet.com/general/financial-assistance-for-pet-surgery/
    4) We have also tested by adding a new post in draft and it automatically fetches the article schema correct.
    5) We don’t know why the type error is coming in the schema.

Can you please look into it and suggest what we can do.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

I logged into your website’s admin area and found that new posts are picking the schema automatically. The old posts do not have a schema but upon manually adding it, the schema is saved without any issues.

Please have a look at the screencast in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

It is likely that when the posts were created, the schemas might have been disabled or removed.

You can edit the posts and add the schemas to fix the issue.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi Team,

Earlier there was schema added, but it disappears after the plugin update.
How can we restore that other than manually adding the schema to each page?

    Hello,

Updating the plugin should not cause such issues. Also, we did not come across any similar issues in our recent updates.

Another point to consider here is the posts older and newer than the ones missing the schema still have the schema applied properly.

So, this doesn’t indicate to be an issue with the update.

You’ll have to manually add the schemas to the posts that are missing them since bulk editing to that extent is not available in the Free version of the plugin.

Hope this helps and if there’s anything else that we can assist you with, please let us know.

    Thank you.
