Redirection based on URL parameters

    Hey guys,
    a client just brought to my attention that redirects containing parameters (i.e. ?id=123) in the source won’t work.
    I just tested this, and I can’t filter based on the ?id=123 … simply lands on the homepage.

    Can you please fix this bug?

    Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    Unfortunately, with the redirection manager of Rank Math, you cannot redirect URLs with parameters. This is a feature that we might launch in our future updates.

    For now, you may use .htaccess redirects for this purpose. Please refer to this guide for more details: https://linchpinseo.com/htaccess-rules/#how-do-you-rewrite-and-redirect-urls-with-query-parameters-to-a-directory-based-structure-while-retaining-the-query-string-in-the-url-root-level

    Hi Prabhat,
    thanks for your response.
    I’ve already reported a similar issue a year ago and found another similar ticket from two years ago… so I doubt this will be implemented anytime soon. Too bad.
