    Hello,

I checked bot the plugin and Google Search console and couldn’t find a way to exclude specific queries.

For some reason a lot of queries of the following form appear in the google results:
    https://www.mydomain.com/search-parts/?_sf_s=&authors=XXX

What I am looking for is a way to remove all results that are indexed by google that include a query with the word ‘authors’.

Thank you in advance for your time!

  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

If these queries are search results then you can noindex them from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Misc Pages > Noindex Search Results.

If that doesn’t work then you can block the crawlers by adding the following rule in your robots.txt file: Disallow: /*?_sf_s=&authors=*. You can edit your robots.txt file WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
