Conflict with Plugin

    Hello,

    I’m having a conflict with Modern Event Calendar from Webnus.
    When RankMath is activated there is a code that appears on the tiles of my calendar and it’s Rankmath that is causing this.

    CAn you help me resolve this problem ? You can see it on the main website : https://museema.org/

    I checked the calendar/agenda page of your website and I was able to replicate the issue.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    I already did that.
    When Modern Event Calendar is activated with all other plugins on it works fine and once I activate RankMath I have the line of code that appears

    The issue is happening because the plugin is adding the code target=">" which is not valid and when our plugin gets activated that closes the link tag automatically there.

    Having said that, your Modern Events Calendar is also outdated so could you please update that and then report back so we can see if the issue is fixed?

    Update done, unfortunetely it didn’t change anything.
    I’m also in contact with the developers of MEC so they are aware of the issue.

    In order to fix this issue, we had to remove the code that was outputting the target attribute on the links of the events from that plugin.

    That code is causing an issue on your website and even with Rank Math disabled it’s returning what seems like incorrect values.

    We recommend that you get in touch with the plugin developers and ask them to investigate this further.

    The code we removed is located on the file wp-content/plugins/modern-events-calendar/app/skins/tile/render.php on line 57 where it’s outputting the link of the event.

    Hope this information helps the other developers track down the issue and solve it.
