    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Can you please confirm if you have manually added the Google Site Verification tag to your site or using some plugin?

    The tag has not been added correctly and it is making all the meta data added by Rank Math, invalid:

    Meta data is not valid HTML and just a plain text due to the wrong script tag in the verification code:

    Please correct the verification code and then wait for Google to identify the changes.

    Could you please check it? After fixing the issue, allow Google some time to recrawl your website and see if this fixes the meta title on the SERP.

    You may need to track down this specific line that is causing issues to the whole HTML markup. Please refer to my screenshot here: https://i.rankmath.com/kc5hF9

    If you have custom modifications in your theme before, please check your theme files and locate that and see if you have missed some closing tags.

    If you are not able to find it, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hello,

    I visited your website’s admin area and upon investigating, I found that you added the Google site verification code and tag manager code from your theme’s header.php file and you did not close the script tags.

    Please have a look at the screenshot in the sensitive data section of this ticket.

    Also, the verification codes are not added properly.

    I went ahead and closed the script tags and now the meta tags section of Rank Math is not inside the script tags.

    However, I suggest you remove the Google Site Verification Code from your theme’s header.php file and follow the below steps to correctly verify your website on Google with Rank Math:
    1. Copy the meta verification tag from here:
    https://www.google.com/webmasters/verification/verification?siteUrl=https://shubhamsirohi.com&priorities=vmeta

    2. Follow this guide to add the verification code in Rank Math:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#verify-your-website-on-google-using-rank-math

    Hello,

    I checked and you haven’t added the verification tag correctly. Please add the HTML meta tag or just the id inside the box.

    For example:

    Either add <meta name="google-site-verification" content="OfsYI8CeIhqds-8B7zgVmfpn1GoxADvvC170_oX9m_0" />

    or just OfsYI8CeIhqds-8B7zgVmfpn1GoxADvvC170_oX9m_0 inside the Rank Math’s webmaster tools.

    This is just an example. Use the code provided by Google.

    I checked your website and still the correct ID was not added, so I logged into your website’s admin area and updated the ID in the Google Search Console field under your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > General Settings > Webmaster Tools.

    Further, I verified your website again and the website is verified successfully.

    As for your initial query regarding the mismatch in the title, since the meta tags are now fixed, please wait until Google re-crawls your website and see if the issue gets fixed.
